Caro – ICARO

Caro is a Swiss painter and tattoo artist. She left her country in 2013 to delve deeper into the introspection of her artistic expression. She lived in various parts of Asia for five years, where she began her career as a tattoo artist in northern Thailand in 2015. For the past seven years, she has resided in Mexico, where her art has been influenced by an interest in pre-Hispanic culture, indigenous cultures, archaeological sites, folk art, and ancient traditions. Her paintings are a reflection and interpretation of these studies, visions, and meditations on a geometric world, influenced by ancient cultures. After 12 years abroad she decided to move her base back to Switzerland where she currently lives and works in Zürich.
