Kids Area – A Space for
Little Spirits
At Burning Mountain Festival, community has always been at the heart of everything we create.
And community means all of us - including the next generation.
Over the years, children have naturally been part of the festival, especially from local families and crew members who spend weeks building this magical place in the mountains.
The Kids Area was created as a gentle response to this reality: a dedicated space where children can experience the spirit of the festival in a safe and mindful way.

What is the Kids Area?
The Kids Area is a calm, colorful and creative space designed for children and their parents.
It offers:
-
playful elements and toys
-
creative workshops and activities
-
moments of calm and connection
-
occasional sessions such as kids’ yoga
It is a place to explore, create and simply be, away from the intensity of the dancefloors.

What it is not

The Kids Area is not a childcare service.
There is no drop-off option, and children must be accompanied by their parents at all times.
We believe that parents are the best judges of what is right for their children, and we trust them to take full responsibility throughout their stay.
For a deeper understanding of the festival’s values, guidelines, and responsibilities regarding families and children, please read the official blog post: “Children at the Mountain – A Deeper Reflection on Freedom, Family and Awareness.”
A Space for Families
Our intention is not to turn Burning Mountain into a “children’s festival”, but to acknowledge that families are part of our reality.
The Kids Area simply provides a safe and quieter environment for those who are already here together. It is about sharing values, creativity, and the magic of art and community across generations.
We are continuously listening, learning, and evolving. With care, awareness, and respect, we aim to create a space where everyone, big and small, can feel welcome. With open hearts, for all generations.

Who are we?

Little Spirits is born from Fate per Gioco, an italian association committed to spreading the right to play and play culture. We collaborate with private individuals and public entities bringing activities to squares, streets, parks, and homes, from play buses to animated readings, school workshops to summer camps.
With over 300 events organized including festivals, fairs, and parties for all ages, we have established a standard of trust and excellence. Little Spirits brings this same dedication to the festival world.

While created with children in mind, the space is open to everyone. Adults without children are warmly welcome to rediscover their sense of wonder and reconnect with their inner child through
play, creativity, and imagination.
As beautifully expressed in last year’s Kids Area:
“People don't stop playing because they grow old; they grow old because they stop playing.”
