Helka Ivanyi is a young Hungarian artist living in Austria. She completed her first art education in her home country, where she was specialised in the diversity of textile arts. She has been living in Vienna for about five years, where she started to focus on painting. Over the past years, she has participated in several charity auctions of her paintings and group exhibitions.
„My paintings mainly represent my thoughts and emotions. Most of the time, socially critical elements appear on my canvases, other times reflections on my own life - I often call my paintings a “visual diary”. I paint many negative experiences and emotions of mine in the form of surrealistic elements mixed with realism. Every single time I have a painting done, I have a lot of fun seeing what different dream worlds have evolved from my thoughts.”
