Swiss National Park
Zernez is known as the gateway to the Swiss National Park, Switzerland’s oldest and most strictly protected nature reserve. Here, nature is left entirely to itself, creating a unique landscape that feels wild, raw and authentic.
What you can do:
Hiking: Over 80 km of marked trails lead through forests, valleys and mountain passes
Wildlife spotting: With a bit of patience, you might see ibex, red deer, marmots or even golden eagles
Val Trupchun: One of the most popular valleys, especially known for wildlife observation
National Park Centre: Located in Zernez, this visitor centre gives a great introduction to the park, its rules and its ecosystem

Glaciers & Alpine Landscapes
